It’s such a boring filler book. Just watch the movie it’s better anyways.

It’s literally impossible to not hate Umbridge. Like I can’t look at my favorite color pink anymore without wanting to hurt someone. It’s impossible. Also I saw on YouTube that the actor for Dolores Umbridge actually hated having to pretend to torture Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter’s actor) while filming. Draco’s looks in this movie: 8/10 (one of my favorite Draco moments is when Umbridge is putting the badge thingy on his robe and he looks so proud of himself 😂) 💚🐍🪄Jade the Slytherin🪄🐍🖤

This is the biggest installment of Harry Potter, but for what it’s worth, it’s not the best for the volume amount. Yes there are major plot points and the details are important, but if I were to compress this into a book with major plot points and the details that connect them, it would be a little bigger than the 1st book. Okay, okay, the writing is deep and it really sets up the world, but it’s the 5th book, it should be 90% story and 10% world building. But enough with the volume, what about the story? First thing I notice is the threstrals. So your telling me that Harry has gone to this school for 4 years before this and has never seen these death horses, whom can only be seen by people who have seen death, and Harry had witnessed his mother die in front of him when he was 1. IS THAT WHAT YOU’RE TELLING ME? It’s almost like the nightmare horses are there only when it’s convenient for the plot. 🤔. But anyway, I do like that quite a few characters are skeptical of Harry, but I don’t like that within a few days they just go “ oh Harry I’m so sorry I didn’t believe you, you know who is back even though we don’t have proof I have decided to believe you because Mrs Rowling is telling me too. Also I’ll believe you over that slime secreting toad any day”. But I will applaud Rowling for that stupendous writing of Umbridge. It is so hard to not to hate her when she’s parading around like the hot pink wart she is. Fred and George’s escape is definitely one of the highlights of this book and DA is cool too. I love how they all gathered at the Hogs Head and we’re just like, “yes our whispering will make sure are secrets are not spilled as three other people sit here in complete silence”. Although Harry wasn’t really justified to hate Cho after she defended her friend, cause if you ask me, her friend had a pretty good reason to eat them out (her family’s financial stability was at stake). Sirius’s death was unexpected for me (I was really young when I read the book) so I got a little (quite) emotional. The fact that Harry could do the cruciatus curse on Bella confuses me because I get that he’s a good guy at heart, but if someone killed my only remaining family I would have destroyed the world. But anyway, Rowlings writing is great in some places, questionable in others, I think she wrote a great book that at the end of the day, almost anyone can enjoy.

The fourth and fifth are my favorites in the series! I recommend it, most of it isn’t too scary but maybe the end a little bit. Also, I’m sorry, but I’m on TEAM UMBRIDGE!! *Hem hem* she has perseverance! And I love her cat decor. Me while watching the movie and sees her office: 🥰😍 And she loves pink! Like me! I mean, *hem hem* she’s just doing her job, I mean….😏

Despite being overrated and draggy, this book had an interesting plot and likable characters. However, I wouldn’t recommend to older readers.

Books 3,4 and 5 have many illustrations and animations that after a fraction of a second disappear. Do you have any suggestions on how to solve this problem? Otherwise, the books are great. Running 16.4 iOS on iPad.
