From New York Times bestselling author, Corinne Michaels, comes a new heartwarming standalone romance.

I’m getting really good at cutting my losses.

First, the husband. Divorcing him was the best decision I ever made. But between single-parenting and job-hunting, I can’t catch my breath. When a celebrity blogging position falls into my lap, I’m determined to succeed.

That is, until I get my first assignment and actually see Noah Frazier for the first time . . . practically naked and dripping wet. My heart races and I forget how to form complete sentences. His chiseled abs, irresistible smirk, and crystal blue eyes are too perfect to be real. So, what do I do? Get drunk and humiliate myself, of course.

I’m ready to forget the awkward night, yet Noah has no intention of allowing me to move on. Instead, he arranges for me to write a feature on him, ensuring a lot more time together. One embarrassing moment after another, one kiss after another, and before I can stop myself, I realize—I’m falling in love with him.

But when the unthinkable happens, can I even blame him for cutting his losses?

What I wouldn’t give for just one last time . . .

I finished this book in 1 day, I never read anything written by this author but, I can safely say she ranks way on the very top, Kristin’s is so well developed from the very beginning and it got me right from the first, I was very young and come from a Hispanic and catholic culture that now that I’m a grown woman and a family of my own I see where Kristin’s character reminds me so much of my mother, in many ways not that I ever heard my father belittling her but she always thought he hung the moon and couldn’t do no wrong and knowing he was cheating on her she turned the other cheek, so this book stuck with me, Kristin’s character even though it took her a while to find her strength she and Noah well he’s just something else a wonderful something else, loved the whole, story evolves and all the characters are developed and epilogue couldn’t be the best, thank you for writing and I’m off to explore more of her books, thank you, Maria.

So this book hit close to home. I am getting out of a 17 year relationship with 2 kids and my name is Kriston lol. Being married to a man who is emotionally abusive is so hard. You did amazing capturing those moments. I can only hope I am lucky enough to find a man like Noah to worship me. This book was amazing. Great job.

What a lovely book! One Last Time is a story of love the second time around. Kristin McGee finds herself dealing with life after her marriage falls apart. She is struggling with putting herself back together, getting back into the workforce, and making a new reality for her and her children. “How do you stop loving someone? How do you push away the only man you’ve ever loved?” Noah Frazier is at the top of his career, a former Navy SEAL and current star of the TV show, A Thin Blue Line. Settling down or finding “The One” isn’t even a thought for him ... until he meets Kristin. “Maybe you’re right. Maybe neither of us needs any more complications, but you’re the only thing I want.” One Last Time is like real life. There is beauty, humor, and heartbreak and through it all hope. Both Kristin and Noah have been hurt in the past and have to find a way to navigate past distrust and fear. “If fear is the only voice I listen to, I’ll never have the life I want. The only four-letter word I want yelling in my head is hope. Hope that I can have more. Hope that love will be something I share again.” *CUTE KIDS ALERT!! It’s great when you can fall in love with the Hero and heroine in a story you are reading, but the biggest bonus is when other characters steal your heart also. Finn and Aubrey are not one dimensional side characters. At times they completely steal the show (and my heart). “You’ve done something to me. You’ve given me back this . . . part of my heart I threw away.” I loved this book! I smiled and swooned! Corinne Michaels has become a definite one click author for me.

ONE LAST TIME... Corinne Michaels.. this author is absolutely one of my favorites and always a go to when it comes to reading a book or suggesting a book to a new reader... #thesalvationseries had my heart completely and still holds a special place in my heart... years after reading the series I have not forgotten the characters and their stories, and the reason for saying all of that is that in this book you get a glimpse of where they are now and dive deeper into an extension of their story when you are introduced to Kirstin, strong, confident, beautiful, the friend that helps bring a smile to your face when there isn’t anything to smile about.. she’s the mother of two amazing kids... and then there is the husband that has caused Kirstin to lose the sparkle in her eye and become dependent upon his approval to her every move... until one day she realizes it’s time and she leaves him and takes the kids with her... then comes Noah... 10 our of 10 in looks department, gentlemen, confident, single, and immediately falls for Kirstin the moment he sees her... oh yeah he’s famous too.. lives are changed, courage is uncovered, and in the end love finds its way back into Kirstin’s heart and she finds so much more in herself along the way! #readinonenight #highlysuggest I couldn’t put it down, I hope you love it as much as I did! #mademesmile @corinnemichaels #onelasttime #corinnemichaels

  • All the Swoons!

Corinne Michaels writes characters I wanna root for! I loved Kristin and Noah! There is something about the way Michaels tells a story; it’s always real and raw and full of so many emotions. One Last Time was no exception. Such a beautiful story about two people finally finding a true sense of self and in each other happiness. When we meet Kristin she’s come finally to the realization that she can’t stay in the marriage she thought was to be her forever. After fourteen years of heartache and feeling not good enough, she leaves for herself and for her kids. Her ex was just vile. Now, Noah? Noah was swoony, dreamy and everything everyone wishes for in a man. This woman never stood a chance in resisting Noah! I loved every swoony moment!! Though I haven’t been thru a divorce, I have experienced what it’s like to have someone tear you down with words. I thought Corinne’s writing of Kristin’s feelings and the way she reacted so many times was so realistic. I felt her anxiety. I hurt for her and encouraged her. Kristin’s kids were amazing, Finn is feeling so many emotions with the divorce and changes to his life; and Aubrey was just a ray of happiness and animals and glitter. Throw in the amazing tribe of friends and the story just got richer. I loved that Noah was willing to give Kristin what she needed, all the while going after what he wanted. He told her time and again he was going to win her heart. He definitely won mine!! But he wasn’t without his own worries and fears.
