Lexi Blake never disappoints and this compilation is a great introduction. All of the characters, both main and supporting, are presented with back stories that draw the reader in. I love that the characters flow in and out of the series, we never feel like we lose them. This series is steamy, suspenseful, sweet and romantic. Did I mention it was steamy? Ultimately it is about family. The family we are born into and the family we grow into. Pull up a chair, grab a coffee or glass of wine and lose yourself in this great series. Highly recommended.

I often get bored when reading a series....but not so with Masters and Mercenaries. It’s got intrigue, suspense and naughty BDSM to keep you wanting more. I definitely recommend it to any who need an escape fro reality.
