Description

They’re not undead; they’re just angry…

The DataMind meditation app has revolutionized the world, making people smarter, happier, and more productive. But a programming glitch in the final update causes billions of users to experience uncontrollable rage and aggression.

Nick, an ordinary high school senior in Fairbanks Alaska, is suddenly thrust into this life or death arena. He and his brother must escape the zombie-like hordes of blood-thirsty maniacs and seek refuge north of the arctic circle.

The four-hundred-mile journey tests the boys, their wits, and their trust in each other. They think they’re fighting to stay alive; but little do they know, they’re fighting to save mankind.

This was a great read. The storyline was easy to follow, exciting, and keeps you on your toes. At the end of each chapter I found myself not wanting to put it down yet, and lately it has been hard for me to find a book like that. I got sad for a brief moment when the end of the book came because I just wasn’t ready yet! There were some spelling and grammar errors that I’d like to see fixed. Needless to say though I didn’t hesitate to get the second book in the series. Looking forward to continuing on the journey!

I usually like to take a break halfway through a book, but I read it in one sitting. I really enjoyed the story, it kept me entertained the entire time. I’m jumping right to the next one. Great read!

This was a seriously awesome new take on a zombie. The high tech angle is a completely genius one. The characters were great and added a bit of levity to the story. The way these brothers fight, but also care about each other is exactly like normal siblings act. Allen Kuzara did a great job with the writing, the storyline, action, danger, dialogue, and flow of the story are very well done. I enjoyed reading this book and definitely recommend it.
