Description

Sometimes life doesn't go according to plan.

My summer was planned from packing lists to trip itineraries. Or so I'd thought.

It's the night before my trip abroad, and my boyfriend Matt showed up to a party with another girl. The boyfriend I'm supposed to spend seven weeks with in Brazil.

No way can I board that plane.

With my trip tickets ripped up and the money down the drain, I owe my parents big-time. The only job hiring is Teed Off!, the driving range that just-so-happens to employ Matt's trio of best friends.

Matt's friends don't like my presence on their artificial turf, so pranking me becomes their second part-time job. They definitely don't want me winning the bonus money our boss is offering for an idea to improve the business.

By chance on a summer night, Matt's head crony best friend Aidan is there for me when no one else is around. Turns out, he and Matt haven't been close for a while. Aidan begins to see through to the real me—the me I'd kept from Matt to be the person I've always longed to be—popular with a boyfriend, all according to plan.

As the summer unfolds, our secrets unravel.

All Last Summer is a young adult summer job romance and can be read as a standalone in part of a connected series.

This book was so cute and quirky. The story line was fun, and the message important. Only four stars because there were some typos.
  • Great book! Meh settings

I started reading this book on my iPad. Then on my phone the amount of pages changed. During the book there would be blank pages and the next page would have a different idea or text on it with something I haven’t read yet.

It’s a cute ya romance book between Aidan and Lila (I think that’s how you spell their names). Was a quick 135 pages book. Would recommend for people looking for a young adult romance.

i enjoyed reading this, adored aidan; however, lila’s constant “which lila should i be” and changing herself to fit people irritated me. i understand that it’s displaying how people act now, but she was just a little over-exaggerating with it. still a great book nonetheless!

This book was impossible to put down and I was very invested in the story from the very beginning. Would love a sequel to find out what Lila’s up to next :)
