Description

A new stand alone fake relationship romance set in the glitz and glamour of the Cruel world from USA Today bestselling author K.A. Linde...

The most eligible bachelor in New York City just asked me to be his fake fiancé.

Gavin King is six and a half feet of delectable billionaire with a devil’s smile that says he knows exactly what he’s going to do to me later. Because he has.

Three years ago, I caught him in the shower and promptly fell into his bed. But neither of us were relationship material. Not to mention I’d just broken up with his best friend.

Now, I’m back in the city and he has a plan:

Go to his cousin’s wedding.
Convince his family that he’s not an eternal bachelor.
Post a huge elaborate break up later.

With those big puppy dog eyes begging me to agree, claiming I’m the only one who can pull it off, I say yes. What could go wrong? Other than pulling it off so successfully that the line between real and fake blurs.

When my family flips the whole script, I can’t see a way out.
And I’m starting to wonder if I even want one.

Another great addition to this series. In this final book we get a spicy friends to lovers with a fake relationship mixed in. Gavin and Whitley had amazing chemistry 3 years but they went their separate ways as Whitley has commitment issues basically. When she returns Gavin, the playboy he was must decide if he could commit. This was a wonderfully written boon that made you laugh and it didn’t hurt how amazingly the two had chemistry. They were well suited for each other. I received this ARC through the publisher and I am voluntarily reviewing this book, opinions are my own.

Can I give this 10 shiny stars? Please? Pretty please. This was epic. Gavin. Dang. Perfect. And Whit. Love her and all her perceived broke pieces. They’re magic. Even if they hide behind fake plans. I have loved every bit of the Cruel world. Every bit. And think I will revisit them all now start to finish. Highly highly recommend. This is a best of 2023 and best if ever shelf for sure. I Loved It.

Gavin FREAKING King … talk about a book hangover! I can’t get over this book. I am obsessed. I have been saying that Camden Percy is all my time favorite Cruel hero but, man Gavin King is right there neck and neck. There is sooo much in this book. It picks up 3 years after Cruel Kiss and the epic Fashion Show throw down from Cruel Marriage. KA Linde threw in all of the troupes for this one. Friends to Lovers Fake relationship Second Chance All the spice to burn up your kindle I loved see more of Whitley! That girl is so strong and such a force of nature. It was so fun to watch her growth in her relationship or fake relationship with Gavin. I can keep going on and on about this book, but I don’t want to spoil anything.
All I will say is I am running to preorder the Audible now because I am obsessed and Joe Arden as Gavin King is simply perfection.

I received a complimentary early release e-book prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review. This is a stand-alone book with the NY Society world. I have only read an occasional book in this series, and I never felt lost reading this book. This is the story about Gavin King and Whit and it's a second chance, fake fiancée and friends to lover's romance. This was a really fun and awesome story. There is some drama but what I loved about this book was that the drama never got in the way of Whit and Gavin and their feelings about each other. I think this was one of my favorite books in the series, I loved how the author brought all Whit and Gavin's friends into this story as they spent time with Whit and Gavin. But the best thing about this book was how these two really trusted each other about absolutely everything and it really showed in the story the author told.
