It's the first book I have read by J.A. Jance. I really enjoyed it. I'm going to start on another one right a way. So many to choose from, I love it when I find a new author!

I wonder if, in reality, an actual person could endure that much tragedy and remain strong. But I would like to wish it possible.

Loved this book and the new Jance character. I've been a JP Beaumont fan for years and I really admire how Jance can create two such completely different characters. I'll look for the next one.

A quick read, two days for me. Interesting plot with lots of sideline intrigue. A middle aged woman tires to find her identity after losing her job and facing an unhappy marriage. Well done, another book I would reccommend by this author.
  • Middle of the road kind of book

It's well written and action packed, but the storyline is pretty far fetched. Overall, just an average suspense thriller.
