If I were to go to the bookstore to buy this book, I would buy two copies. One for me, and one for the guy holding a gun to my head. Truly, where to begin?! 1. The story goes nowhere. It just gets so mind-bendingly complicated in the other 12, so when you finish reading this, you are left with a bunch of questions. 2. I feel that an ending should wrap things up in a series. But it doesn’t. It just leaves the series’ true ending up in the air. 3.Count Olaf is just so weird, and he ends up dying, yeah, but so many questions about him are left unanswered. So I wouldn’t read this book, if I were you. So if you are reading this book, O suggest you put it down immediately, and go read something else.

I LOVE the whole series and I think this book was a perfect conclusion. It was great to learn more about the founding of VFD and for my favorite character, the incredibly deadly viper, to make an appearance! Warning: for those people who get very emotional, the ending will make you cry.

I read the whole seiries and it was one of the best I ever read but the ending is horrible and leaves so many unasweard questions. I don’t suggest reading this book if you don’t like cliff hangers

The end of the "chapter 14" section of the book left me on the edge of my seat. How old is Sunny? What's the baby's name? Will the orphans make it to land or drown in a storm? If they make it to land, where will they live? When will the authorities realize their innocence and atom chasing them? What happens to Ishmael? Or Ish? Or whatever his name is? Lemony Snicket please answer my questions by creating some new books!😋 if you created a new series I would BEG my parents to buy it for me!!!! While that's it for now!

The ending was sooo sad. I wanted to sail away to the desert island they were on, and rescue them. I would give them a nice hot dinner on my big beautiful yacht, and let them live in my house for the rest of their lives. I like thinking that. But I was super happy when Count Olaf died.
