Has the makings of a good short story but was never expanded on. Very short, read in 30 minutes. Poor representation of Joe Pickett.

The Indians are Alcoholics/Meth addicts losers. The sheriff is a racist pig and the game warden is doing the sheriff’s job.

This should be a freebie. I’ve been enjoying the Pickett series, so I thought this might be interesting. It wasn’t. Not even sure why it was published at all. Nothing compelling, interesting or intriguing about it. Don’t waste your money. Hey, C.J., you owe me three bucks.
  • Too short
