The Marriage Auction: Season One, Volume Four

Audrey Carlan has written another masterpiece with The Marriage Auction. These four couples own my heart in different but amazing ways! Sutton & Erik might be my favorite of the men, but ask me next week and I’ll probably have changed my mind. Dakota, Savannah, Ruby & Opal make me wish I had sisters of my very own. Faith & Eden had my “mama bear” self out in full force! Madam Alana made me want her in my corner for life and I can’t wait for her story to be out in the world! I’m going to run out of superlatives and coherent speech when trying to review the fourth volume. This whole story captured me from the start and I couldn’t put it down. I was intrigued by the premise but Audrey created characters that are so easy to connect with. And the episodic format, meaning that each chapter moves to the next storyline, keeps you coming back for more. This series has a trope for everyone including enemies-to-lovers, mob/mafia, billionaire hero, tragic past, forced proximity, fake romance, alpha hero, siblings best friend (or singling/sibling in this case). All four couples have something new to offer readers. There are twists with each couple and while I saw one of them coming, I was still shocked by how it played out. Audrey doesn’t shy away from hard topics and allows the characters to experience those horrors but also creates a safe space for each of them to land. The heroines are strong, the heroes dreamy. And while these particular ladies don’t need their men to save the day, they’ve been saving themselves their whole lives, it’s beautiful to watch the men recognize how strong they have had to be and say, let me carry the load for awhile (*swoons*). This is the perfect culmination of all 4 storylines with just enough teaser to make you want Season 2 right now! And good news, you can get the first chapters now on Kindle Vella as we dive in to the next auction with some familiar faces mixed in. All in all, Audrey has created a masterpiece, well deserving of the title, worldwide phenomenon!!

This was a fantastic end to season one of the marriage auction. As most of the couple get ready to wed, there are very dangerous challenges for some. This book continued to keep me on the edge of my seat wanting to know what happens. I loved this entire series and now can’t wait for seasons 2!

I have never been more pulled into character the way that I have in this series. Every page was a turner, and you just keep wanting more and more. Audrey is one gifted writer, and I am so blessed to have found her. The way she can have a muse set her on fire is out of this world. Each character will have you on your toes, you will laugh and cry reading this series all in the best way possible. You will truly have all the feels and I do mean you will go on a rollercoaster of emotions with this series, but you will not be able to out these books down trust me. The only down fall to this series is that it had come to an end in which case I understand but I am a greedy reader and I wanted it to never end. Come alone for this wonderful ride with me. There is so much spice, love, danger, and excitement.

This series was amazing! Audrey does a great job with the episodic transition to the book. Most of the chapters end in mini cliffhangers, and leave you wanting more. The timeframe for this book is from 1-9 months post contract. All the couples are married, and there is a 5th couple that emerges(surprise). The storylines for each of the couples continue to be spicy, sexy, sassy, loving, full of patience and understanding. A rollercoaster of emotions, plot twist, angst and all the tropes you could ever imagine. Marriages, babies, crazy family members and ex lovers, oh my. Nothing like a good HEA. Loved it. Can’t wait to follow the new auction candidates in season two. Season 2 on kindle Vella now. Amazing job Audrey.
