And it does. This is my first by this author and being a retired military member I love the story. Special ops. Are awesome. Thank God for them. This book puts you right on the team with them.

Book was a mishmash of promos previews and ads for other books.
Total waste of time and money.

This is not a book; it is an advertisement that will lock up your computer and not allow itself to be deleted.

The narrative in this book is NOT for anyone faint of heart nor the squeamish. This is another story featuring the character of (counter-terrorist op) Scot Harvath.
Being aware of the usual theme found in Mr. Thor's novels, this story mostly met my expectations. I was hoping that it would be a complete (mini) story in itself with, perhaps, the events in this story having repercussions to events that happen later in "Hidden Order". That might still be the case but this prequel is incomplete; it ends with a cliffhanger.
If reviewers were allowed to rate in half-star increments, I'd rate it a 3.5 (or a 7 in a 1-10 scale).
