The Perfect Crime

Jessica Wolfe’s career as a lawyer at the prestigious Sydney Legal was going from strength to strength until her brother, Alistair Wolfe, decided to get involved in human tissue trafficking. Alistair’s subsequent arrest and conviction brought with it a mountain of negative publicity and has damaged Jessica’s prospects of a partnership at the law firm. Jessica is determined to prove her worth despite her brother’s criminality.

Mackenzie Callaway is a successful property developer. A former high school football jock, he’s defied everyone’s expectations by scraping his way through college and graduating with a business degree. Then his ex-girlfriend’s body is found hidden inside a suitcase stashed in the air conditioning vent in one of his buildings and all hell break’s loose.

The police think they have enough circumstantial evidence to charge Mackenzie with her murder and his perfect life begins to spiral out of control. His only hope is the girl he’s known since high school who just happens to be a damned fine criminal defense lawyer.
