Hysteria in Comfortville

In this final book of the Ashley Crane series, Ashley and Sean have settled into married life back in Comfortville. It's the start of a busy holiday season and the couple are hard at work catering parties and filling orders at Babycakes bakery.

One late fall morning, a body is discovered high up on a ridge above town. That news triggers a chain of events that re-opens an investigation into a forty-year-old murder case that has gone cold. Recent DNA technology starts to link up the suspects, and Ashley finds herself helping to solve the case after a call from the local detective and her friend, Nate Thompson.

One of the local residents has been blackmailed into not revealing what happened years ago, and has tried to protect her family's dignity in light of accusations and injustice. But dark secrets that have been buried for so long are quickly rising to the surface.

Ashley and Sean find themselves caught up in frightening scenario that threatens their safety and those of good people that have been trapped in a sinister web of betrayal.
