SHIVA'S BOONS

Sunny listened to his parents when he was growing up. He built a successful computer software company. Everything was going perfectly for Sunny. Sunny was a believer & devotee of Shiva the God of Sanatan Dharma. The believers said that if a human prayed with full devotion to Shiva everything that a human wished would come true. All of Sunny’s wishes had come true so far. He prayed to Shiva with even more devotion. Sunny was not married. When he was in school three girls loved him. He loved all three of them. He turned his back on their love for his studies and his career. This enraged the three girls who were devotees of Shiva. The girls prayed to Shiva. They asked Shiva that they wanted Sunny to love them with equal intensity. All of them prayed to Shiva to make Sunny the father of their children. Another believer girl’s destiny led her to Sunny. She prayed to Shiva with devotion. She wanted Sunny to be the father of her child. Sunny had atoned for his sins by performing noble acts & deeds in his current birth. He prayed to Shiva with much devotion. One day Mother Parvati saw Sunny praying to Shiva. My Lord in this Kaliyug this devotee is praying hard, you must reward him, Mother Parvati said. Mother, he is a sinner, Shiva said. What did he do, Mother Parvati asked? He broke the hearts of four women in his previous birth. He promised to marry them. He made them pregnant but ran away after doing so. These four women suffered badly Shiva said. He should take care of these four women in this birth, Mother Parvati said. There is a problem. These four women love him. They all want a child with him, Shiva said. What is going to happen now my Lord, Mother Parvati asked? I have a solution that will make all my devotees happy Shiva said. Will he marry four women Mother Parvati asked? No, he will not marry any of them. He will suffer for the sins he committed in his previous birth. In this birth, he will take care of these four women and their children. The women will decide when to love him, & how much to love him. They will be the Masters of their relationship with him Shiva’s said. Mother Parvati smiled at Shiva. Bhole Shankar your ways are mysterious. Even I cannot guess them.
